Style a Pin-Worthy Fall Porch

Fall is definitely here along with the pumpkins and fall decor. It seems like with the retail stores pushing notebooks and pencils for back to school in one aisle and Christmas in the other, it's hard to know when is really the appropriate time to get out that fall decor.

Well, I'm happy to inform all of you that as of October 1st it is now officially pumpkin season so it's time to get on it!

Let's talk Front Porches

Even if you don't have a porch, your entryway can say a lot to passerby's, visitors and even the Amazon delivery person.

Do you dream of creating that Pin-worthy porch but don't have the time or energy to make it happen? Maybe you think, "Next year I'm really going to make it happen!"

The truth is, it doesn't have to be that hard! I've put together some items to make it easy to get the porch your neighbors will envy (see gallery below).

Use a Variety of Pumpkins

Visit your local nursery or grocery store or if you are super ambitious, a pumpkin patch! I shopped my local Trader Joe's and came home with these beauties and the Mums — all in one stop! I'm usually able to keep the decorative/non-carved ones through Thanksgiving. 

Partner with Succulents

Succulents are here to stay and they should — we all love them! Incorporate them into your fall decorating. They complement pumpkins perfectly!

Front Door Wreath

Adding a festive wreath to your front door gives the instant holiday vibe to anyone passing through your entryway.

TIP: Don't bother buying multiple wreaths for different seasons. Invest in one good green wreath (I like the eucalyptus, boxwood or magnolia leaves) and switch up the elements to fit the season.

Mix'n'Match 

Combine your store-bought decorations with natural ones. Put spiders on pumpkins or fill the bottom of your lanterns with leaves.
